Act of Valor

To tell you the truth, I don't know where to begin with this movie.  By definition its a fictional tale, woven around actual events. Starring real Navy Seals.  Well, what better way to make it authentic? And to be honest, you can tell.  They are not actors.  Not referring to the action scenes, containing live fire and of course, boku explosions.  But in the dialogue between characters.  Comprised of Soldiers and Actors.  In the narration that fades in and out of ear, throughout the picture. It's evident. Its apparent.  So why see this movie?

B/c you quickly remind yourself that they weren't hired to act.  What makes this movie different?  Easily answered.  Out of all branches of armed services.  None are more recognized or celebrated than Navy Seals. Their name and popularity have multiplied since the successful raid on Osama Bin Laden's compound, was accredited to Seal Team 6.  This film provides a glimpse of what these men do on a regular basis. And believe you me, they do it well!

The makers of this film wanted an accurate portrayal. To be honest I don't know any group of actors that could have done what was done by these men in this film. It can't be duplicated.  Ladies & Gentlemen this film brings you the real thing. Not only that, but puts YOU right in the team, with YOUR boots on the ground.

Go see Act of Valor! But be careful, it might leave you wanting to commit one of your own.

This week Act of Valor gets full honor and revere with

5 SALUTES OUT OF 5
