CONTRABAND

In Contraband, Mark Wahlberg plays a smuggler who has successfully gotten out of the life.  He has a wife two young sons and is doing a pretty good job of keeping his nose clean.  Until... enter the fuck up.  In this particular tale it's his wife's little brother.  Who gets boarded by the coast guard and has to dump his package.

Once the package is gone though, Lil bro is on the hook for the cost of the goods.  Enter our Hero who will do anything for his wife.  Contraband is the story about that one last job that can smooth everything out and "set us right for life".  It always ends up being more complicated than originally thought.  And risk usually trumps reward pretty early on.

Wahlberg's character Farraday is one of these new Heroes I've been writing about.  Who is not a straight up killer but by no means a pushover.  He saves the day and his family not because of how many bullets he has, but b/c he's smart and thinks.  Which is the most capable weapon any of us has... When used properly anyway.
